Cat's tongue brush with gold synthetic fibre, long handle in earth-red lacquered wood with gold tip, and a nickel-plated brass ferrule. The soft and elastic gold fibre is ideal for oil and acrylic, gouache and other painting techniques not needing thickness. The length of the handle offers the perfect processing of perspective by increasing the natural distance between the arm and the artistic work. The filament comes out flat from the ferrule and ends with a rounded tip, in the characteristic cat's tongue form to confer extreme softness to the brushstrokes, even when pressure is applied. Series 18 is used instead of ox hair, offering the same characteristics of lightness and elasticity, with an excellent retention of the shape of the tip as well as a medium water absorbency with natural release. Excellent use for pictorial retouching and decorations on smooth substrates, previously prepared with a plaster primer. The handle is traditional and light. The long wooden handle recalls the classic fine art brush, being balanced, classic and elegant. Packaged with a protective tube able to safeguard the tip.
