Small mottler with a flat rounded tip in extra fine ox hair, short handle in earth-red lacquered wood with gold tip and nickel-plated brass ferrule.

The extra fine ox hair is characterised by an extreme softness, a good water release and colour absorbency. Due to the low elasticity and thin hairs, it is ideal for oil paint, acrylic, gouache and watercolour. The brushstroke is soft and light, whilst the line is delicate and used in light strokes such as for solid backgrounds.

Characterised by long, full brush head and a broad tip, ideal for shading and applying paint in a more precise manner than a usual mottler, Series 76 presents a broad selection of sizes, able to meet the various needs of oil painters and decorators. The handle is short, light and easy to handle, suitable for precision work on horizontal planes. The rounded tip does not leave any strokes, even if pressure is applied, whilst maintaining the shape.

The line is rounded and long, if used under pressure it draws a straight petal shape.
