Simple thichness mottler with medium-long extra fine ox hair, short red-lacquered wooden handle and nickel-plated brass ferrule.

The extra fine ox hair is characterised by extreme softness, a good release of water and colour absorbency. It is ideal thanks to its low elasticity and thin hair that is light without leaving strokes, being good for watercolour, acrylic, gouache and varnish backgrounds, as well as for fluid colour decorations.

Series 205 is characterised by a medium-long fibre with a flat tip, ideal for wide-ranging brush strokes and for water and solvent paints without leaving strokes. When pressure is applied, it creates a rectangular form. The brushstroke is soft and light, being much appreciated by students and oil painters, as well as by professional painters. The handle is traditional and short, balanced and light, being very manageable and suitable for precise details and on horizontal work surfaces.

THE LINE The line is full and light, soft and medium-long. When used on its narros side, the brushstroke is fine, of medium length and – if pressure is applied – leaves strokes of a large rectangle shape.
