Flat tip brush with red sable hair, long handle in earth-red lacquered wood with gold tip and nickel-plated brass ferrule.

Red sable hair has the same features of Kolinsky sable hair, even if less valuable, including excellent absorbency and the slow and homogeneous release of fluid colours. It is ideal for diluted techniques such as gouache, acrylic and watercolour. The brushstroke is continuous and light, being precise for small strokes and for full backgrounds.

Series 115 features an elongated, solid brush head at the base, with a thinner flat tip and a reduced range of small- to medium-sizes, perfect for details and dynamic geometric strokes. The flat tip is precise, being perfect for both very thin lines and coatings when used on its narrow side, always whilst maintaining the form. When pressure is applied, the stroke has a rectangular shape.

The handle is long, light and suitable for vertical work, where distance is needed between the hand and the work for perspective and a greater overview. Individually packaged in resealable protective transparent plastic tube.

THE BRUSHSTROKE

When used at the tip, the line is thin, continuous and long-lasting. If pressure is applied, the strokes creates a narrow rectangle.
