Round tip brush of natural squirrel hair, with short contoured handle lacquered in black and with a nickel-plated brass ferrule.

Natural squirrel hair is processed using an ancient technique handed down by furriers, characterised by extreme softness and elasticity. The fineness of the filament and its flexibility, associated with a slow and homogeneous release of water, make it ideal for use with water-based colours and painting ceramics.

Series 107/V Masterpiece is made from a selection of very fine squirrel hair, being extremely light at the tip and thus perfect for watercolour and ceramic professionals. The brushstroke is elastic and holds its shape for a long time, whilst the selection of sizes is with a view to the details and definitions of botanical watercolours and the very fine lines of the third-fire painting. Much appreciated by experts.

The handle is short and easy to handle, being contoured for a comfortable grip and suitable for precision work.

THE BRUSHSTROKE

The line is thin and continuous, with a slow and precise release of water. When used lightly, the extremely sharp tip creates delicate and long lines. When pressure is applied, it has the shape of an elongated pointed leaf.
